Event-as-a-service startup Kampaay raises 1.5M€ Seed Round

Kampaay (www.kampaay.com), the startup transforming the way
events are organized, closes a 1.5M€ round. The round was led by 360 Capital, which believed in the idea of bringing disruption to the In-person, virtual and hybrid corporate events industry.
Kampaay was founded in late 2019 by four engineers from Politecnico of Milan: Daniele Arduini (CEO), Stefano Brigli Bongi (CMO), Enrico Berto (Head of Product) and Marco Alba (CFO). In November 2020, the startup raised a pre-seed round of 500K€ demonstrating strong ability to adapt to the pandemic environment and now plans to use the funds to grow
in the domestic and Swedish markets.
After the lockdown, Kampaay reached a 30% month-on-month growth from June 2020 through the end of the year. At the beginning of 2021, the startup launched its first overseas office in Stockholm establishing a footprint in the Nordics and reached a turnover of more than 400K€ in June. This seed round will allow Kampaay to grow quickly and evolve its technological platform, hiring strategic figures in the tech area to accelerate platform
scalability and consolidating its positioning on both the Italian and Swedish market.

“With respect to the evolution of the corporate event industry in the last year towards a digital paradigm – says Daniele Arduini, co-founder and CEO of Kampaay – a sign of trust from a strategic and international investor such as 360 Capital will give us a valuable international exposure to put in place our vision”.
