Sophia Genetics Raises $30m
Sophia Genetics, a data-driven healthcare startup backed by Autonomy billionaire Mike Lynch, has raised a $30 million D round (£23 million) for its medical software platform. The funding round brings total investment in the startup up to around $60 million (£45 million).
The funding round was led by London-headquartered venture capital firm Balderton Capital, together with 360 Capital. Existing investors Invoke Capital (Mike Lynch’s startup investment company), and Belgian pharmaceutical entrepreneur Mark Coucke also participated.
