Warehouse robotics specialist Exotec raises 77M€ in Series C, fueling international expansion
Exotec, the Lille-based startup developing semi-automated warehouses systems for e-commerce players, raised 77M€ ($90M) in a Series C led by 83North, with participation of existing investors.
360 Capital was an early investor and has been supporting the company since its initial Seed round in 2016, a perfect example of our belief in the power of breakthrough technology and integration of hardware and software solutions.
Exotec has indeed developed both the SkyPod robot, able to move autonomously in three-dimension, and the software system allowing to coordinate fleets of robots inside a warehouse.
The new round will fuel the global expansion of the company, bringing the Skypod systems to retailers around the world.
“Global demand for warehouse robotics solutions is strong, but logistics managers sometimes hesitate to invest in traditional automation systems. This $50bn market requires efficient and flexible solutions in order to meet clients’ expectations and new buying patterns. Currently, 14 of our systems offer top performance to major retailers on three continents, managing fluctuating demands in their e-commerce warehouses.” Romain Moulin, Exotec Founder and CEO
