THE FUNDRAISING WILL CONTINUE TOWARD THE FUND’S €100 MILLION TARGET.

Milan, 23rd March 2026 – 360 Capital, a European venture capital firm active since 1997 with €700 million in assets under management, announces the closing of €85 million for Poli360 2, its new technology transfer fund with a target size of €100 million which invests in early-stage deeptech startups.

Poli360 2, the successor fund of Poli360 1 (launched in 2020), invests in partnership with leading universities and research centers of excellence. Building on the validated and successful strategy of Poli360 1 – which today includes 20 startups in its portfolio such as Energy Dome, Isaac, Phononic Vibes, PhotonPath, Inxpect and Equixly – Poli360 2 aims to make 20–25 deeptech investments, with at least 80% of the capital deployed in Italy and up to 20% allocated to startups based elsewhere in Europe.

The fund’s investment strategy focuses on two main areas: Industry Automation and Sustainability. Industry Automation includes – but is not limited to – robotics, Industry 4.0, semiconductors, cybersecurity, AI, IoT, civil and industrial infrastructure, industrial machinery and information technology. In the Sustainability domain, the fund focuses on new materials, energy transition and circular economy.

Poli360 2 is classified as an Article 8 fund under the SFDR (Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation). Its investors include the European Investment Fund (EIF), CDP Venture Capital, Italian pension funds, family offices and several corporate investors such as Brembo, MBDA, Lucchini RS. Their participation reflects the growing interest of industrial players in innovation and technology transfer. Investing in a venture capital fund such as Poli360 2 enables corporates to gain access to cutting edge technologies and high-potential startups, securing a long-term competitive advantage. This is made possible through the support of a highly specialized partner such as 360 Capital, which brings more than 25 years of VC experience and a strong corporate investor base, representing around 30% of its LPs.

With Poli360 2, we are strengthening our commitment to transforming world-class Italian and European research into globally competitive companies. By working side by side with universities, research centers, and visionary founders, we aim to support the next generation of deeptech champions who will shape the technological landscape of the coming decade” declares Alessandro Zaccaria, Partner at 360 Capital.
